Heh. I'm a student, gonna be a senior in high school. I'm very asian...although sometimes not so much. Music is literally my life...I play the cello, and I'll listent o ANYTHING. Except country and classical guitar, and some opera. But everything else is fair game. ^^
I've been doing graphics for awhile now with PS CS2...mostly been doing sig banners though, never wallpapers. So eh. This is cool. ^.^

Anyways, this is my idea:
~ get rid of the white outlines
~ vector character bodies
And then... done! :D
But then... uhoh, the characters are holding items D: I guess we can just outline those in the character's assigned color :D

Aaaaanyways, when I say vector their bodies, yeah, omit their skin; any trace of skin = GONE. That way, it'll look a bit more retro :D However, you still have to keep the shadowing. Suggestions?
~ keep their colors like the ones in the original scan: Suzumiya = red, Koizumi = green, Mikuru = pink [definitely, even though she's not wearing that color], Kyon = blue, and Yuki = purple. Shadows = darker shades of said colors.

Well, there made you wait a day. lol didn't have time to come online yesterday. =P so you like my avatar? lol, i was being so random when i made it just because i thought it was time for a new avatar. i was thinking about changing it...for the new year. but that can wait until i come up with a new idea for an avatar. xP
You can also use feathering. (about the gaussian blur/vectoring gradient thing)

Lol as to vectoring gradients, well i suppose you can always pick one color and them apply a semi-transparent gradient of the right color to that fill. or else, you can pick one color and make a fill, then pick another and do one on top. after that, mask the top one into a smaller area and gaussian blur the mask to get a steady transition from one color into the next. =P
and my secret to stashing papers and yet still being able to produce walls: for many of my walls, i made them from scans i had before i even came to AP. for some others, i vectored screenshots, which obviously don't cost any money. and sometimes i trace off manga scanlations, which don't cost anything either. ^^

Lol. i'm getting better at doing vectors. so they are turning out nicer in my walls.

Hey! lol yeah, we probably should stop using the shoutbox =P i've been okay, through some seriously busy times but still alive, as you can see. and i've been walling...go see my latest one! it's my featured. =] and i've also been vectoring. and yeah...the secret to having lots of papers is to never spend, to wall a lot, and to post long meaningful posts/comments. you've been commenting in practically the entire front page of SZ today. me and melly call it patrolling. i won't type a letter so until you reply. ^^

It was amazing. I wish I could have gone twice. My parents took me in september because it wasn't showing on my birthday, which is sad. Yeah, it was an early birthday present. My mom wanted to see it again, too. Geeeeeeez, it was seriously the most amazing musical I have ever seen.
My mommy made me stroganoff, which was wonderful. Also, I went to Coldstone and got birthday cake remix. It was yummy. I still have some in my fridge. Haha. I am having my family party tomorrow. Other than that, nothing.
I went to Wicked for my birthday present from my parents and then we ate at the Space Needle. It was AMAZING!
