About Me

Heh. I'm a student, gonna be a senior in high school. I'm very asian...although sometimes not so much. Music is literally my life...I play the cello, and I'll listent o ANYTHING. Except country and classical guitar, and some opera. But everything else is fair game. ^^

I've been doing graphics for awhile now with PS CS2...mostly been doing sig banners though, never wallpapers. So eh. This is cool. ^.^

My school football team isn't bad. I don't really pay attention to them. I went to a different school's football game and wore their gear...haha. I don't know anything about football. I mostly go for the people. I scream and shout. It's pretty great. haha. We have homecoming, but I don't know if I'm going or not. Are you going to yours?

Sheltered indeed. Drugs and stuff still give me the heeby-jeebies. Yuck. No one did that kind of thing at my school. Meeting new people is fun, but I am pretty shy. When I am with my friends and they have a friend I can be outgoing, but on my own I am not that extroverted. The internet is easy because I don't have to approach people in person. When other people talk to me I am fine, but I don't do well with talking to other people unless I have to.

"I Hate Hamlet" was actually in Bellevue a few weeks ago. I saw it when I drove through town. I was bad. Yuck. I would die if it were an original play. One time, though, the old tech teacher made up a play to raise money for the tech crew. That was really funny. My sister was on it and she played a lumberjack. She is, like, one of the smallest, most petite people that I know. It was great. All of the cast members were techies. Pretty hilarious. It was much better than "I Hate Hamlet".

I think my English teacher will just grade it based on what the people had finished, but maybe not. I hope she doesn't grade it because mine was not very good. Haha.

I am going to see Wicked on the 21st. I get to leave school to go and then my parents are taking me and my friends to the Space Needle! It will be my first time eating there. I'm excited.

Yurgh...School is tiring. I am beat. That may be due to the fact that I went to a football game. Not for my school, though. We were playing, but I went to my friend's game instead. Haha.

In the 7th and 8th grade there weren't even 20 guys...I think we barely hit 20 even with the 6th graders. Haha. It was shocking going from microscopic to...well, big in my opinion. I was shaking the entire first day of school basically. Haha. It's good now, though. I enjoy it.

Well, Old Hamlet doesn't teach New Hamlet how to see ghosts, but he teaches him how to play Hamlet properly because they are putting on the show. The acting was okay. I mean, we have a pretty good drama program usually, but it was hard to get things really good with the script and the play and sleeeeeeaaaaazzzzzeeeeee. It had a lot of the more advanced drama people, though, so the acting was okay. The guy who played Sleazy Old Hamlet was really gross. He isn't usually, but he was in this. It was disturbing.

It wasn't really specified. My teacher just told us to write about ambition. That's it. One word. The bell rang right afterwards so we didn't have time to ask what she meant. It kind of sucked. No one knew what they were actually doing. And the essay we had to write in class today was left unfinished by the majority of the students. It was annoying. However, I think both essays were related to Macbeth, which we are starting. I tried to keep that in mind, but it was still hard. One prompt was too general and the other was too specific. Oh well.

Haha, my school had boys. We only had one in our class, but there were boys. I loved it at Holy Family. I used to wish that it had a high school. They almost built on next door once, but the land was already sold. After getting into high school I realized that it was good I was going to public school. My world had been so...small. My class had 9 people in it...

The whole thing kind of comes crashing down on the killer when he gets Swallow to pick something up for him. She basically uses this guy that likes her to get there, too. I think that is the first time any of the kids doubt The Man(that is the character's "name"...) Swallow never really wants to believe that The Man was bad...Crazy kid.

I Hate Hamlet was just sleazy. The whole thing was weird and gross and I didn't like it. It was supposed to be funny, but it wasn't. The plot is that this guy is an actor and he is going to play Hamlet, but has a problems or something and a previous Hamlet comes back to help him. No one else can see the old Hamlet, so it's weird. It was dumb, dumb, dumb. I take no offence to anything. They were both really stupid. I am upset that we did them. I didn't even try out. I hope we do something good this year...

Ah...rolling backpacks. Not such a good idea. I mean, I had one, but...I was young and therefore stupid. My mother was also concerned about my back. If you buy a good backpack and you have locker (which we didn't at Holy Family) then you're fine.

Meh. 36024569 I believe these are my numbers...Like, the ones for the myspace url thingy.

We don't have summer reading...I am assuming you do. That's weird. I've never had to do summer reading in my life. No, this essay is about ambition. She told us that and I almost died. What ABOUT ambition? Apparently, whether or not it's good. I think it's the crappiest thing on earth. Ew...

Well, I didn't try to make it sound awesome...It isn't. You can only go to the Capital so many times before you tire of it. It was only cool when I was little because I got to leave school. Haha.

You are right about the drama thing. Everyone knew everyone else's business. It sucked. We were all really close because of it, though. It was awful when you didn't want someone to know something. If you wanted something kept a secret there were people to avoid. It was kind of sad, actually.

Actually...I don't really remember what the kids do. I haven't listened to it in a while. Swallow's little brother kepts mad, though. "Jesus" let his kitten die. You don't mess with a little boy's kitten. He blames the killer for making his kitten sick.

My school only ever does one musical a year! It's dumb. Last year we did The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe and The Magician's Nephew (Yuck, this was really bad and the script was bad), I Hate Hamlet (I didn't like this either...), and Little Shop of Horrors, which I wasn't in because I didn't do advanced drama. Little Shop would have been better if they set hadn't been bad. Do you do drama?

I don't think there are any people at my school that have roller backpacks. There isn't room for them...There were a couple of people last year, I think. That girl probably has a real backpack because she got many death glares for her wheels rolling over people.

Haha, don't worry about it. I think everyone has a myspace these days...I do, too. I don't have a personalized url, though. I never got around to making one that I knew I would be happy with forever. Haha.

So...this year is going to suck. I already have an essay to write and an in-class one tomorrow. Greeeeeat. I hear it gets easier after Sophomore year, though. I hope they get your schedule fixed!

Hmm...What did we do in the Capital Building? Nothing really. Walked around and looked at things. Occasionally we got to go on the floor, which I guess is pretty rare. It wasn't that great.

I do go to a public high school now. It's a lot different. Haha. I love Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging! Funny book. But their school wasn't like mine. It was really small. And I mean really, really small. There were only 200 tops (and that's a large number for Holy Family) in the entire school. Usually it was only in the 100's.

Exploit, he does. He tells stories like Jesus did, only his weren't real stories. They were kind of bad and he made them up...haha. He uses this girl named Swallow and the kids don't tell anyone he's there because they think he is the miracle their small, podunk town needs. They sing a song about it. Haha. This crazy caravan-type group of people's leader sees the killer and Swallow together and that is how the adults find out about him.

All of the high schools in my area do three shows a year, at least. I don't know the musical for my school yet, but I know my drama teacher wanted to do Oklahoma...She was talked out of it. Thank goodness. I'm not sure if Oly has a tap program, but if the kids there don't know how to tap, it's gonna be hard to teach them all. And the shoes...

Last year's Sophomores (this year's Juniors) are annoying at my school. I am younger than them and they annoy me. That's saying something, right? Wait...those girls just liked you for no reason? Are you attractive? Because that might explain things. Haha.

Good luck to you, too. I start tomorrow. Yuck. And, yeah, pretty much every class has an Honors/AP version. I pretty much AP whore-ing...I have all but one AP/Honors class. I'm even in the advanced choir, I guess. Haha. What about you?

I used to go to the Capital Building every year when I was little because my classmate's dad works as a lobbyist. I went to a private school. Haha.

Should RENT come back, I would definitely like to see it. My religion teacher in middle school (private, catholic school...go figure. I just went there for the envirometn and education.) went and saw it. She was scandalized. Imagine that. I don't know why she went to see that. I think Contact scarred her. I can probably sympathize with her on that one...^.^

They are from the mid-west, so twang indeed. Whistle Down the Wind is actually a rather strange show. This killer escapes from prison and then hides in these people's barn. When the kids of the family find him they think he's Jesus. I haven't seen any tap shows, but I want to! I get to in...whenever Olympia High School puts on TMM.

Actually, I am going into my Sophomore year. I should be a Freshman, though. I started Kindergarten early at my private school.

Haha. I am Caucasian. So, I guess that means I'm just awesome. ^.^ Hah.

I don't think that Olympia is ridiculously far from Seattle...It's only like an hour and half, I think. I've been to concerts and stuff in Seattle. It doesn't seem that long. My uncle lives in Bellevue. There is a lot of stuff there compared to Olympia. We've got a pretty big scene downtown, but I don't hang out down there. Especially since we've started to get all of Tacoma's homeless people...Other than downtown Olympia isn't that exciting. We've got a nice capital building. Neat, huh? Haha.

When I read the story on that website I had mostly figured out what was going on, but not entirely. I mean, it's not like it will give the end away because the end is the beginning. Which is weird, but whatever. ^.^

I don't know what I have against him. Hmmm...Oh well. I haven't seen the play, but yeah...Mr. Pascal did not sound as good. They took out some songs, too. Kept it more basic then the show. I guess that makes sense, though because you can't have all of those songs in a movie. It would be too long and hard to work out. *shrug*

My friend is lucky! She has been to New York multiple times and gone to Broadway every time. She saw Avenue Q, which I would really like to see. Umm...Whistle Down the Wind is pretty good. It never came out in America (Only England which is weird because it's set in, like, Kansas or something like that). The characters have a twang, kind of, but that's okay with me. ^.^ Thoroughly Modern Millie basically about this girl how comes to New York from a really small town and tries to be a stenographer so she can marry her rich employer. She stays at this hotel for women that is just a front for a prostitution ring. This guy named Jimmy is her love interest. It's tap show. One of the high schools in my area is doing it this year. I'm stoked.

I, too, have a lot of Asian music on my iPod. I have stuff from Bleach and Ouran High Host Club. I used to listen to JPop a lot. Like Larc-en-ciel, Mayavi, Gackt, that sort of thing. My iPod has the most randome stuff on it. Haha, O-Town. That's what I'm talking about. I like "Liquid Dreams". Hmm...I like a lot of the music you listed. Good stuff.

Well, I'm not in Seattle...I am in Olympia. Woot woot for capitals, man! My friends and I call it a melting cup because supposedly we are a melting pot, we don't think we are big enough to be a "pot". Haha. I like Portland, though. Great city.

I tried to figure out the story, too. It's hard because you don't have the dialogue. I was actually looking up lyrics for Aida to make sure I was saying the right words (haha, that Adam Pascal...) and I came across a website that has the lyrics and the story with the songs in the order that they go in the play. It's allmusicals.com. You look up just about every musical in existance. Haha. It's pretty sweet.

Yes, I've only seen the movie, but by the time the movie came out I had already been listening to the soundtrack...I don't think Adam Pascal sounds as good in the movie as on the Original Cast Recording of RENT. (I sound like I really don't like him...That's kind of sad, actually.) I know people that are in an acting program during the summer. Some of them are kind of...obnoxious. Haha

I would see Aida in a heartbeat! My friend got to see it on Broadway...Jealously. It's the same with Thoroughly Modern Millie. It came to Seattle, but I wasn't into it yet. It's frustrating.

By chompy I mean that he squeezes his vowels so it ends up forced sounding and gritty...Yuck.

Besides musicals? Is there anything else? ^.^ Just kidding. Jeez...I will listen to anything. I don't like country and opera isn't really my thing. I guess I just like what I like. Avril Lavigne (sp?) for example...Don't like her at all, but I like the song "Things I'll Never Say". I listen to Oldies and eighties music. I like Queen, The Killers, The Backstree Boys (Yay!). Yeah, pretty much everything. My family has a separate drive for music because we didn't have enough room on our computer. What about you?
